Our Founder
Kenya Allen, a native of Miami, Florida, and raised on the Southside of St. Petersburg, is a passionate community leader, innovator, and advocate. Once battling addiction, Kenya experienced a powerful transformation and embraced her true identity as a vessel for healing, purpose, and change.
Today, she is a voice for the voiceless, strong advocate for returning citizens, serial entrepreneur, published author of From My Plans Into His Purpose, and the founder of The House of Grace, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to community empowerment. Kenya is also the owner of KA Professional Staffing Agency, where she continues to create opportunities for others, podcast host of “Conversations With Kenya” where she and guest have hard conversations about the criminal justice system and those who have been impacted by it.
As a proud mother of seven and “Glamma” to thirteen grandchildren,
Kenya’s deep love for her family fuels her passion for building a healthier, stronger St. Petersburg. Her creativity, leadership, and collaborative spirit have allowed her to connect with organizations across the region, bringing hope, healing, and impact to countless lives.
